    What You'll Do

    We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Football Factory in Ada, Ohio, who is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and optimizing the current manufacturing equipment at the facility. This person will lead all facility improvement projects as well as supervise a small team of skilled union maintenance personnel while working directly in the manufacturing environment. This Maintenance Supervisor will develop, identify, and modify new and existing processes, technologies and platforms for improved performance and/or cost reduction

     

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Lead all activities involved in facility maintenance.
    • Work closely with the current maintenance staff to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.
    • Provide engineering support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems
    • Build critical relationships and leverage expertise and capabilities from inside and outside Wilson to deliver results and create value.
    • Proposes new technology to keep equipment and processes technologically advanced.
    • Monitor and evaluate process/ equipment performance, make recommendations for new and improved processes.
    • Develop and maintain reference documents, technical work instructions and preventive maintenance programs.
    • Interact with external organizations (vendors, suppliers etc.) to explore new technologies for sewing and material handling.
    • Strong safety background with experience in administration, auditing, and assurance of lockout/tagout procedures and compliance
    • Strong leadership skills are a must for this position.

     

    What We're Looking For

    We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of strong experience in maintenance and manufacturing engineering.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.  Previous supervisory or management experience in a union environment is desired.

     

    Other qualifications include:

     

    • A strong team player with positive and professional attitude and a strong bias for action to solve challenges.
    • Strong multi-tasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment that embraces change and value creation.
    • Strong leadership skills are a must for this position.
    • Strong project management and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge and experience working with Solid Works and Office Programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
