We are seeking a talented and innovative Finance Transformation Project Manager to manage our transformation portfolio and play a key role in creating compelling narratives to enable the finance function to provide insightful context in our in our transformation journey and provide value-added financial & business insights into current and future operational and strategic actions.  The role will require an individual with skills related storytelling, presentation creation, and effective communication along with a background in management consulting to join our dynamic team.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our finance department, the Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing our transformation portfolio to support the VP of Finance Transformation on day-to-day operations by optimizing resources, eliminating roadblocks & enhancing collaboration across teams to achieve organizational objectives. In addition, this role will translate complex finance topics and strategies into compelling narratives that resonate with various stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.  Specific responsibilities include:

 

Project Management Office

  • Coordinate Finance transformation programs & work closely with different stakeholder groups (such as Group & Brand Finance and Strategy) to drive change & execution of projects.
  • Identify & engage key stakeholders across the organization to eliminate change roadblocks.
  • Facilitate PMO meetings to manage day-to-day project activities, monitor project milestones, and ensure ongoing alignment with overall strategic direction.
  • Prepare, moderate & follow-up on regular project reports & meetings (incl. project plans, milestone tracking, implementation risks) and ad-hoc transformation meetings.
  • Monitor & manage budgets allocated to the projects, work closely with other Finance & Non-Finance Teams (e.g., E2E Planning Manager, Brand Finance, Segment Managers) to forecast budget needs & track spending.
  • Assess & monitor project resources (personnel and non-personnel). 

Collaboration

  • Engage with senior leadership in a timely & effective manner to provide updates on transformation progress and to facilitate required decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment in messaging.

Story Development and Presentation Skills

  • Craft engaging and coherent narratives around financial performance, corporate strategies, and market positioning to create a compelling story for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop visually appealing and clear presentations that simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences, including executives and employees.
  • Regularly prepare key leadership documents to drive decisions (e.g., BoD, ExCom updates), ensuring consistency in messaging across various communication channels, aligning with the company's overall brand and strategic objectives.

Data Interpretation and Strategic Insight

  • Bring a strategic and analytical mindset to the development of financial narratives.
  • Analyze financial reports, market trends, and strategic initiatives to extract key insights that can be communicated effectively.

What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; a master’s degree in related function (MBA, Accounting, etc.), or CPA is strongly preferred.  We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 7 years of strong experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related role.  Othe qualifications include:

  • Prior experience in management consulting is required.
  • Proven leadership skills to steer & coordinate project teams.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies & tools; PMP certification preferred.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate financial data into compelling narratives.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools and presentation software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
