What You'll Do

We are currently looking for a Product Data Specialist to facilitate the timely and accurate integration of product data throughout systems within the Wilson IT architecture. The analyst will support data integrity initiatives and special projects to ensure we achieve relevant deadlines and realize growth plans.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Line Managers when new products are ready for interface to downstream systems.
  • Validate data loaded into PLM system for accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and maintain SAP global material master data.
  • Collaborate with global markets on regional SAP material master requirements.
  • Document processes for all product data tools and corresponding data flow mapping.
  • Continuous cross-functional analysis to determine information dependencies and system impacts.
  • Partner with Omni Channel Services, Warehouse, Planning, and Marketing to ensure proper integration of data and processes.
  • Monitor master data for continuous improvements to the cleanliness and integrity of data.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis of master data.
  • Liaise with IT and business community regarding issues and resolutions.
  • Communicate data process changes to applicable departments.
  • Participate or lead related training activities.
  • Calculate and update costs in SAP for materials in US, EMEA, and Canada regions as needed.

What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or data science or a related field. Previous experience in a data analytics role preferred but not required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  

 

Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to accurately analyze complex data and present recommendations that are practical and relevant.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise initiative to accomplish responsibilities while anticipating and solving problems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • PLM tool and/or SAP experience a plus.
