What You'll Do

The Senior Merchandising Planner will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our merchandising operations by managing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale (WHSL) planning activities. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of forecasts, allocations, and business strategies while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting sales growth. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and excellent organizational skills

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain accurate item forecasts for the US DTC channel, leveraging historical data and trend analysis.
  • Create and manage US DTC allocation tables to optimize inventory placement and meet consumer demand.
  • Lead regular US DTC business reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain partners to ensure inventory needs are filled and on time for respective channels.
  • Conduct store capacity planning for US DTC locations, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities and measure their impact.
  • Oversee store and warehouse transfers to maintain inventory flow and minimize disruptions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business unit and the warehouse to resolve issues and enhance efficiencies.
  • Generate and manage item forecasts for the US WHSL channel, ensuring alignment with sales targets and customer needs.
  • Conduct US WHSL business reviews to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy and address any related issues.
  • Manage items on the B2B portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information for wholesale customers.

What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or a related discipline and 5-7 years of experience in merchandising & planning. Ideal candidates have experience working in the apparel industry.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), as well as collaboration/ communications platforms like MS Teams.
  • Previous experience in the athleisure industry preferred
  • Great product instincts – an understanding of sports, culture, and fashion and how they shape the lifestyle and clothing choices of young athletic men and women.
  • Analytical thinking – a balance of both qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Entrepreneurship – ability to work effectively in a fluid environment and willingness to wear multiple hats, as necessary
  • Resourcefulness – self-directed and scrappy
  • Collaboration – demonstrated skill in building cross-functional and cross-cultural/international relationships
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply sound business decisions to growing a global business

 

What We'll Provide

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $100,000 - $130,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
