What You'll Do

We are seeking a talented and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive racquet sports sales operations and activations in the Western region of the United States and Canada.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of territory managers, developing regional sales strategies and local brand activities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will act as a key liaison between the company and our customers, helping to strengthen our market share and strengthen client relationships.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets. Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Wilson territory managers to drive performance and achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and maintain long term customer relationships. Develop strategies to establish Wilson as a leader in emerging sports like Pickleball and Padel within the region.
  • Be a core agent in the community to drive the brand presence across sports in the region
  • Be seen as an undisputed entrepreneur to make Wilson shine within the region across all consumer touchpoints
  • Be an active source of recommendation and execute the plans to make Wilson win locally with critical clubs, academies and new facilities driving our sports to the next level
  • Monitor regional sales performance and analyze sales metrics. Provide regular reports on sales results, trends, and forecasts to senior management. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Address customer needs and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure the team is meeting individual and collective targets.
  • Work closely with commercial, marketing, product, and customer service teams to align regional strategies with broader company goals. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback. Utilize insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
  • Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales objectives while staying within financial guidelines
  • Challenge the status quo on historical investment to make the most of any dollar spent in his/her region

 

 

What We're Looking For

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business plus 5+ years of sales experience in packaged goods or a related industry or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Preferred candidates will have a deep background in Racquet Sports and a passion for the sport.

  • Persuasive and convincing negotiator, with the ability to promote ideas in a compelling way
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

 

 

What We’ll Provide

 

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $140,000.00-$190,000.00 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
