Overview

The Stocking Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all equipment operators, warehouse stocking management, Shipping/VAS/Stocking needs, production standards, and all equipment. The main objective will be to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and work closely with other departments to meet our operational goals. 

 

The shift is from 3PM-11:30PM - Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee picking and put away for all departments to determine where equipment operating staff are needed throughout the shift.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse equipment operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety procedures. 
  • Maintain replenishment for pick bins.
  • Maintain consolidation to maximize warehouse space.
  • Maintain LE quantities as needed.
  • Maintain overage put away and work to eliminate.
  • Oversee that all equipment operators are up to date on all safety requirements.
  • Oversee that equipment is maintained and in proper condition at the end of each shift.
  • Review pick bins to make sure they are being maximized.
  • Perform 5s (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) to maintain the warehouse.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse.
  • Responsible for monthly coaching of associates.

What We're Looking For

  • Requires forklift experience on a majority of Wilson's current equipment and must be trainable on equipment not familiar with.
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment. 
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control principles. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues and implement effective solutions. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and operating warehouse machinery. 
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems, inventory software, and MS Office applications. 
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
