What You'll Do

 

The Operation Analyst’s role is a combination of strategic and practical data governance driving data standards, quality, and consistency. The Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of material master data through multiple platforms that feed downstream customer and consumer facing tools. The Analyst will continuously improve master data processes, document and train users, and act as the business contact for material master related topics and issues. This person will use data analysis to create decision support tools for the management team across all functional areas.

 

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate and engage with Amer Sports Global Master Data team to facilitate cascading data governance and material master standards, policies, and requirements on behalf of Wilson
  • Create and maintain global material master data records in accordance with data standards using both systematic product data update tools and manually in SAP
  • Collaborate closely with Product Line Managers when new products are ready for interface to downstream systems
  • Validate data loaded into PLM system for accuracy and compliance
  • Build methods for measuring, monitoring, and improving data quality
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business and IT resources to improve data management processes
  • Utilize an understanding of operational processes across the organization to support and facilitate an environment of continuous process improvement
  • Provide input for the development of product data management tools and data collection templates
  • Ensure data requirements and designations are clear and understood by creating documentation and providing training and support to business teams
  • Lead data analysis efforts as needed to aid the organization in evaluating operational efficiency and improve operational and financial results
  • Lead master data projects related to data cleansing and new tool implementations

What We're Looking For

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management of information systems, or a related field plus at least 2 years of previous data management experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

 

Other qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SAP and/or PLM tools
  • Ability to accurately analyze complex data/information and report/present recommendations that are practical and relevant
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and exercise initiative to accomplish responsibilities while anticipating and/or solving problems
  • Macro business perspective and strong understanding of reliance and interaction between functional business areas
  • Acute attention to detail, organization, and adherence to standards
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and support other team members
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $60,000-$75,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
